Other services

The air conditioning system, just like all other units in your vehicle, requires regular maintenance. The air conditioning system consumes about 5 to 10% of its refrigerant every year.
An insufficient amount of fluid reduces the cooling capacity of the air conditioning system and leads to an overload of the compressor. The air conditioner also contains several wearing parts (cabin filter, filter-drier), which are preferably replaced periodically. The evaporator and ventilation lines, in turn, can be infested with mold, bacteria or mites, which not only leads to unpleasant odors in the interior, but can also cause allergies.

We perform the following maintenance work on air conditioners:

• Treat the refrigerant evaporator of the air conditioner with disinfectant.
• Carry out air conditioner maintenance (vacuum, filter, dry, replenish and refill, system check)
• Air conditioning system maintenance including disinfection of the refrigerant evaporator

(diagnosis)

We have a diagnostic device which can communicate with all control units of the vehicle. The specialist in the workshop is therefore able to:

• read out, interpret and reset all fault codes stored in the control units
• perform the service reset
• display all parameters, both numerically and graphically
• reliably diagnose and evaluate the failures of sensors, ECUs and other electronic components
• reprogram certain control units, entering the data specified by the manufacturer.
