Like all success stories, the birth of Bertoni Automobili SA has its roots in a myth, specifically in a bucket of lukewarm water. On a cold November in 1964, Bixio Bertoni and his colleague Guerino Soldati opened their first workshop in an unheated tent at what is now the Eni gas station in Ascona. The legendary bucket was used to relieve cold bites and to allow skilled hands to work on engines, always Bixio's great passion. The determination and intuition shown in those moments never failed, and the success story can be summarized in a few significant steps. The current location, purchased and expanded in 1970, became the historic home of the Renault dealer, to which the Giubiasco location was added. In 1987 the partners separated and since then the structure as we know it today is Bertoni Automobili SA. The arrival of the Nissan dealership for Sopraceneri in 2001-2002 consolidated the company's steady progress. The recipe for this success is simple: humility, perseverance and respect for employees with the clear goal of offering our customers uncompromising quality service.
