The foundation stone for the company was laid in 1950. At that time, when Erwin Küng sen. together with his wife Margrit bought a property at Landstrasse 35 and opened the first business, a repair shop for bicycles and motorcycles. In 1967, Erwin Küng Sr. seized the opportunity and purchased the garage with attached BP gas station at Landstrasse 53. Shortly thereafter, he and his youngest son were killed in an accident. His wife followed in his footsteps and founded Garage Küng AG. The sons, including Max Küng, successfully continued the garage business. Conversions followed, and the workshop had to be enlarged.
10 years of car dealership In 1986 Max took over the sole management. Under his leadership, the company continued to develop. And when the opportunity arose to acquire building land in Geelig, the decision was made to build a new building. The Autohaus 2000 was occupied on January 3, 1995.
