Garage Marco Wolfisberg (Airolo)

The turning point came in 1979 when Xaver, confident in his choice, went to Safenwil and brought the first production Subaru 4×4 to Airolo. Thus begins, as the first garage in Ticino, the sale of Subaru product. Collaboration that lasts to this day.

In 1980 their son Marco with his wife took over the business, thus beginning the second Wolfisberg generation at the helm of the dealership. At this time there were six employees.

In 1982 the roadside assistance business was added, which was professionalized in the following years.

The location of the garage in the heart of the Ticino mountains, and the excellent 4×4 Subaru favored the expansion of the product, reaching excellent results in sales. Subaru has always proved to be a brand with loyal customers who are attached to the product.

Trips organized by Subaru Switzerland for Swiss agents have allowed over time to shape professional and friendly relationships between language regions that would otherwise be difficult to achieve.

In 1997, Marco and Katya's son Mirko began his Light Vehicle mechanic apprenticeship, securing the third Wolfisberg generation.

That's not all, the constant evolution and attention to customer needs is demonstrated by the 1999 opening of the construction site for the new showroom and workshop.

Year 2000, their second son Marzio is also about to embark on family continuity by starting an apprenticeship as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, again at the family garage in Airolo.

In the same year, due to the increasing amount of work and the change of vision, the roadside assistance separates from the Garage's activities by founding the new company Soccorso Stradale WOLFI SA, still a leader in the industry in Ticino.

In 2005, having completed his university studies by obtaining a Master's degree in "Economy In Accounting and Finance," the third son, Oscar, also joined the family, thus completing the family circle of the third generation.

Since then Wolfisberg, has continued to grow, both professionally and structurally. Fact demonstrated by the 2017 opening of the new headquarters, also Subaru and Nissan, in Castione. Wolfisberg Group employees thus, at the beginning of 2018, numbered 33 people. In 2018, in the Castione location, the Jeep brand arrives.
