Garascha Berther (Rueras)

The garage and workshop is a sole proprietorship and a family business. Victor Berther took over the smithy of his uncle Giachen Lurenz Caduff around 1940 and ran it as a smithy and tinsmith shop at Via Alpsu 227 in Rueras. With this takeover, he laid the foundation for today's company. Together with his son Sep Lorenz Berther, they expanded the business to include an agricultural machinery workshop and in 1970 moved as Garascha Plauns to Via Alpsu 203 in Rueras, the current location of the garage and locksmith's shop. In 1981, Sep Lorenz Berther took over the management of the then Garascha Plauns and ran the business together with his wife Gemma Berther-Deflorin. After a few years, the plumbing department was replaced with the auto repair shop. In 2013 Marc Berther took over Garascha Plauns from his father Sep Lorenz Berther. Since then, Marc Berther has been running the workshop for cars, agricultural machinery and small equipment as well as the locksmith shop as Garascha Berther at Via Alpsu 203 in Rueras with the help of a small team and his family.
