It was 1971, Loris Kessel laid the foundation stone of Racing Car SA in Grancia, a few kilometers from the center of Lugano. The Swiss driver had a vision, devoting himself to the world of sports and luxury cars in every aspect. One step at a time, the company initially devoted itself to the maintenance and development of racing or road cars. Year after year, however, Loris expanded his horizons and activities. Parallel to his business activities, Loris Kessel continued to compete. A multifaceted driver, he distinguished himself by competing in numerous categories, both GT and Formula 1, reaching the pinnacle of his racing career in Formula 1, first with a Brabham-Ford, then with the Apollon, a car he created. His honor list also includes participation in major sports car classics such as the "24 Hours of Le Mans" and the "1000 km of Monza," as well as two Gran Turismo Italia titles in the Ferrari 360 Modena N-GT.
