Garage Donati Alberto (Corseaux)

"Coming from a modest background, Alberto Donati never imagined that his passion would one day allow him to plunge his hands into the guts of the Ferrari engine.

In fact, he has never worked for the Italian marque outside his own garage, which he has run since 1988. An apprentice mechanic, Alberto Donati trained with a BMW agent.

Bernard Chappuis, my boss, owned a Ferrari 308 GTB and quickly entrusted it to me for maintenance.

"It was at this time that Donati decided to make his childhood dream a reality. As soon as his Corseaux garage opened, some real Ferrari fanatics, informed by word of mouth, decided to entrust their jewels to the new Donati garage.

Since then, Alberto and his father Luigi have become masters in the maintenance of Ferraris, especially older ones - but also newer ones - for which they have developed engine, chassis, gearbox and even steering transformations, to make them even more pleasurable to drive."

Maintenance

Since 1988, our workshop has been servicing Lancia Stratos and older Ferraris, up to the 360 Modena and 550 Marnello. We also do engine, gearbox & suspension preparation for the racetrack.

Preparation

308 GR4

Based on a Ferrari 308 GTB, we built a Ferrari 308 GR4.

We followed Michellotto's preparation as closely as possible.

Other preparations : We also prepare other models for the circuit, such as the Ferrari Dino 246, Ferrari 308, Lancia Stratos etc...

Engine test bench

The engine test bench enables us to determine the vehicle's power and torque, in order to optimize the tuning and performance of your vehicle. The garage is equipped with a power test bench. Ferrari tuning is carried out on a power test bench.

Machining

In our workshop, we have various machines that enable us to machine some of the parts we need.

Gearbox & various competition parts

We've designed three new gearboxes for the 308, Stratos and F40.
