Garage im Steiger AG (Brugg AG)

In 1992, Stephan Bächli founded Garage im Steiger AG with official Opel representation, followed in February 2006 by Auto Center Brugg AG with Honda brand representation. In 2007, this was expanded to include Chevrolet. In January 2010 Markus Rindlisbacher took over the management and the Fiat brand was added to the range.

Thus, there were two garages at Badstrasse 48 and 50 in 5200 Brugg, each with two brand representations, which somehow belonged together. In January 2012, the merger of Auto Center Brugg AG and Garage im Steiger AG followed. From then on, the two jointly represented the brands Opel, Fiat, Honda and Chevrolet and the company name was changed to "Garage im Steiger AG".

In 2013, the sales mandate with Honda was dissolved, but the service contract was continued in order to offer existing Honda customers a familiar point of contact.

When Chevrolet withdrew from the European market in 2014, the service contract was extended to continue to serve Chevrolet customers as an official service partner.

Since 2014, Garage im Steiger AG officially sells Opel and Fiat models.

In 2017, Stephan Bächli sold the complete Garage im Steiger AG to Markus Rindlisbacher, who has been managing the garage since 2010. With the takeover by Markus Rindlisbacher there were some changes and innovations, outside as well as inside. In September 2017, the sales mandate with Fiat was terminated in order to focus more on Opel. The service contract with Fiat was extended.

The appearance of the garage, as well as the showroom, was refurbished according to Opel standards.

Today, Garage im Steiger AG is a modern company that has been in existence for over 26 years and is able to withstand the constant growth of the industry.
