Detroit Trading (Wallbach)

Specialized garage for restorations, repairs, service, spare parts, import of US and European vehicles.

The company Detroit Trading was founded in 1994 out of the passion for US cars. The step to self-employment I dared at that time despite a good job in a semi-public company. The start was facilitated by a rent-advantageous building in Buus Baselland. We worked there for 2 years until we ran out of space. In October 1996 a garage in Möhlin on the Landstrasse became available and was rented immediately after a short investigation. There we could slowly build up the business to its present size. Here, too, space became increasingly scarce due to the ever-growing customer base. In October 2015, we became aware of the current garage in Wallbach. Immediately we started to initiate everything to take over the business. After the contract of sale was signed and sealed, the necessary renovation and conversion work was immediately started in order to implement all the ideas and experiences of the past years. With this garage we can offer from now on better customer service and a pleasant ambience.
