We formalized the handover with an aperitif, which took place in a very friendly and emotional way between Richard and myself, surrounded by our past and future customers.

From that day on, the adventure began for me.

One objective quickly became apparent: apprenticeship training. A delicate operation, full of pitfalls, often reinforced by social action for these courageous young people lost between the dream and the reality of life.

This formative desire has left touching, irritating and frustrating memories, but also a lot of joy in fulfilling this task.

Our status as a local workshop has enabled us to forge many friendships and create a growing trust which, thanks to the increasing work, enables us to employ a skilled worker.

In 2004, one of the garage's many trainees was a certain Raphaël ROUILLER, a firm believer in the profession. He began his training at a garage in the Bernex area.

In 2005, the "UTILOVIVES" garage was opened to cover the maintenance and repair needs of light commercial vehicles and small work machines. The technical management of the garage will be entrusted to Fabian Maillard, our experienced employee. He will bring us his know-how in the field of reinforced two-wheelers, in collaboration with the TELL brand's maintenance department.

With the "LE GARAGE" label, we'll have access to the services of a major group. The availability and wide range of automotive items will meet the demands of modern vehicles. This label also gives us access to recognized and advanced training, which is also adapted to modern vehicles.

In 2007, the prodigal son will finish his apprenticeship and successfully complete his mechanic's CFC. He intends to complete his training by passing his mechanic's CFC, a position in the Eaux Vivesva garage 2 years later. Perfect his skills as a skilled worker.

At the beginning of 2013, Raphael was given the responsibility of workshop manager, which includes many tasks such as customer relations, and he has since fulfilled these tasks with excellence.

Vincent passed his CFC as a maintenance mechanic in July 2014 after three years' training with us, and showed his confidence in us in September this year by wanting to complete his training as a mechatronics engineer with us.

The year 2014 also saw the closure of the Utilovives garage due to work carried out by the State of Geneva to put
