Carrosserie de Beaumont SA (Fribourg)

Carrosserie d'automobile du Capitole was founded in 1938. Its founder, Paul Maradan, had set up shop on Fribourg's Route Neuve, below a printing works. Following the revolution brought about by this means of transport and the expansion of the city, Paul Maradan decided to move to the countryside, to Route de la Glâne 16.

In 1958, the Carrosserie de Beaumont was inaugurated. In 1963, a wing was added to increase the working area, and in 1978 a final section was covered.

It was also in the 1970s that Olivier Maradan, son of the company's founder, took over the running of the business until the mid-90s. In 1985, a car wash was added to the range of services we offer our customers.

From the 90s onwards, Thierry Maradan, grandson of the founder and son of Olivier, and his team ensured the continuity of CdeB. He developed numerous partnerships with regional businesses and insurance companies. In 2016, renovation work at the Carrosserie was completed, providing a pleasant working environment for the many employees.

In 2018, the 4th generation takes over the reins with the appointment of Sebastien Maradan, Thierry's son, as manager of the Carrosserie de Beaumont.
