Carrozzeria Verga Sagl (Coldrerio)

Carrozzeria VERGA is one of the oldest coachworks in Ticino. Since 1830 the wagon and carriage factory was established with the current owner's great-great-grandfather, wood and iron were worked precisely to build wagons and carriages. The first cars made their appearance and the Carriage Factory had to update itself with considerable changes. Great-grandfather and grandfather worked as beaters, and the first professional paints forced them to learn the painting trade. Continuous innovations and a lot of investments were also made by dad Giancarlo Verga, who dealt especially with trucks, heavy vehicles, vans and trailers. When Simone, the current owner, arrived, new techniques and more environmentally friendly materials pushed him to leave heavy vehicles and continue with extreme seriousness in the multi-brand car business.

Nowadays, new specialties have been added in the auto body business: replacements of windshields, windows, rear windows and mirrors. Special matte paints, double and triple metallic coats, pearl paints with different UV shades... Alternative repair techniques, for example in hail damage: buffing without repainting. Repair work with special resins and fibers. Special decorations on vehicles, advertising lettering, window tinting. Modern and technologically advanced equipment allows us to offer the best, always with first-rate manual work.
