Découverte SA was founded 20 years ago by Thierry Painset. Thierry has a great passion for cars and motorcycles, and from an early age has always been intrigued by how they work!

After completing his training as a saddler and upholsterer, he built up his solid skills by repairing new vehicle bodies and upholstery to a very high standard, gaining recognition in the field.

The post-apprenticeship years were devoted to becoming business manager in a prestigious body shop. In 1997, Thierry finally decided it was time to start his own business, and Découverte SA - Thierry Painset was born.

Our company specializes in offering solutions that go far beyond what you'd expect from a traditional repairer. With a professional team with many years' experience on board, our attention to detail and high-quality workmanship are what set us apart from the rest of the competition. We provide a tailor-made repair service to both commercial and private customers, encompassing a wide range of cost-effective repair techniques.

The saddler Our team is highly regarded, skilled and chosen for their strengths in their specialist fields.

Cédric, the saddler, repairs and recovers the interior of all cars. Cigarette burns, stains and any other imperfections that spoil your car's appearance. It's a real restoration job, bringing the interior back to its former glory.

Thierry manages the day-to-day running of the workshops and the company.
