Garage Kaufmann AG Wittenbach (Wittenbach)

In 1969, Bruno Kaufmann went into business for himself with the Morris MG dealership until 1974, when he rented a workshop and plumbing shop on Romanshornerstrasse. As a young and proactive garage owner, he met the requirements of his customers in such a way that an expansion of the business became necessary.

In 1974 the new business could be opened at the current location. This was also the start of the new brand representation - Peugeot - in Wittenbach. In 1980 the products of AMC/Jeep were added to the program. These brands address a completely different customer segment, which complements that of Peugeot perfectly.

In 1987 Chrysler took over the import of Jeep. Due to this increase in the range of products, the services of the garage had to be adapted as well. In 1994, the garage opened its own paint shop and tinsmith shop.

In 2005-2007, extensive renovation and expansion work was carried out to triple the company's floor space. The spacious showroom with the new customer reception was newly built.
