Garage Knecht AG (Bäch SZ)

History

• 1969 Alfred Knecht was one of the first daring garage owners to sell Asian cars. A visit to Japan had completely inspired him. With the rising of the Datsun(later Nissan) sun, the Vauxhall star went down.

• 1966-1973 Since 1966, Fredy Knecht, the elder son of Alfred and Elsi Knecht, also worked in the company. In 1973, the younger son Thomas also joined the company.

• 1977 Our patron died at the age of 58. Fredy now took over the scepter with the help of his wife Maya.

• 1988 Fredy Knecht also died much too early. A short time later, Thomas Knecht and his wife Monika took over the business from his sister-in-law Maya.

• 2009-2012 The garage is extended and 6 apartments are built above it.

• 2015 Conradin takes over the business as the 4th Knecht. Garage Knecht AG becomes service partner of the Nissan premium brand INFINITI.
