In 1982, Ferdinand Wattinger founded the first car repair shop for cars and light commercial vehicles in Mammern. For 34 years, he consistently developed and expanded this workshop and thus secured a firm place for himself as a car garage in the region around Untersee.

In 2016, the workshop was handed over to Henrik Paliq, a young ambitious car mechanic from Frauenfeld. In addition to the latest expertise, he also brought a breath of fresh air to the workshop. The workshop was reorganized, expanded and completely renewed technically. In the following year, the forecourt was extended to provide sufficient space for the rapidly growing range of inspected used cars.
