Since 1933 our family is connected with the automobile in fascination

There were various reasons that led J.H.Keller to found his own company and to enter an industry that was still completely unknown to him.
In addition, there was the conviction that personal commitment - whether in business or public affairs - would sooner or later lead to success. On June 2, 1933, he founded the company "Sportcar AG". Imported and sold the MG sports car brand throughout Switzerland and took over the sub-agency of Morris and Riley.
On June 2, 1933, Heinz Keller founded Sportcar AG, which was later renamed J.H.Keller AG and still a little later J.H.Keller AG Automobile.

After the Second World War, the company "Sportcar AG" was transformed into the company J.H.Keller AG in June 1947 and the first showroom was opened at Bahnhofstrasse 1.

With the import of the brands MG, Morris, Wolseley and Riley, J.H.Keller AG was able to establish a well-known name for itself.

In 1970 the business connection to the USA began. J.H.Keller AG took over the import and representation of the American Motors Corporation, with the models Gremlin, Pacer, Javelin. Additionally in 1976 the representation of the brand Honda and from 1977 Jeep was taken over. With the takeover of AMC/Jeep by Chrysler in 1988, J.H.Keller AG became the A-dealer for Chrysler and Jeep.

The business premises were renovated in 1996 so that all services of the automobile trade could be offered in top modern premises.

As a Chrysler and Jeep dealer on an exclusive basis from 2002-2004, the business expanded to include Mitsubishi sales and service in May 2004 and Dodge in 2005 for the greater Zurich area.

2009 and 2010 bring more news

J.H.Keller AG Automobile take over the sales and service of Skoda (2009) and Seat (2010) with many successful models and a steadily growing popularity in Switzerland

Today, in daily use with the brands JEEP, SKODA and SEAT we benefit from the experiences of the last years and can use them for the benefit of our customers, employees and the environment. The development in the individual traffic and the environmental protection are followed anxiously in the endeavor to convert new developments.

Therefore, our company invests in the education and training of employees and is proud to continuously train up to ten apprentices in the professions of auto mechatronics and spare parts trade.
