In 1969 the father of the present owner, Giovandomenico Butruce, founded the small one-man business " Autofficina Meccanica Butruce" in Calabria. Thanks to hard work, he expanded his workshop and in 1976 became a service agent for Fiat and Lancia car brands. At the same time he also ran a Piaggio service center.

Even as a young boy, his son Andrea Butruce spent his free time in his father's workshop. The car world fascinated him so much that he trained as a car mechanic. Later, he graduated with flying colors from the Technical College with a Matura.

In 1987 he took over his father's company and in 1999 registered the sole proprietorship in the commercial register with headquarters in Urdorf. In 2002 he founded the current GmbH and in January 2013 he moved the headquarters to Zurich at Winterthurerstr. 297 in Zurich Schwamendingen.

Thanks to many years of continuity and dedication to the FIAT brand, Punto Auto GmbH is now managed with great passion by the 3rd generation.
