In 1974 Jakob Zurfluh decided to become self-employed and founded the Reussgarage in Attinghausen. The one-man business developed continuously. His wife Vreni took care of the office work. In 1980, the company moved into the newly built workshop at Reussstrasse 51. Three years later, the first car mechanic apprentice was trained in the company. In 1988, the company took over the Mitsubishi brand, which was successfully managed for 20 years. The warehouse and office space was expanded above the workshop in 1998. In order to meet the high standards of the automobile importers, a showroom with a residential building was built at Reussstrasse 41, which was opened in spring 2006. Since March 2006 the Reussgarage Zurfluh AG from Attinghausen is the official HYUNDAI dealer in the canton of Uri.
