On May 1, 2018, Christof Beyeler and Rony Künzle took over the management of Schmid Garage AG. Company founder Albert Schmid remains with the company in an advisory capacity and as a sales consultant.

The jump into cold water was the beginning of a success story. Coming from Appenzell, Albert and Riccarda Schmid seized the opportunity in 1984 and opened a garage business with Audi and VW representation after a six-month construction period. Thanks to the good business - personal and friendly customer contact was always extremely important to the two - the company was able to expand steadily.
