Sportgarage Schweizer AG (Mettmenstetten)

On April 1, 1972, Kurt Gilg opened the Sport Garage with VW and Audi representation. From the beginning there was a close cooperation with the TCS. Satisfied "breakdown customers" returned and remained loyal. With the growing population in the Wettswil/Bonstetten region, the customer potential grew. Thanks to consistently impeccable services, the Sport Garage team succeeded in winning new customers. In particular, the customer base of VW and Audi owners increased continuously. Since the introduction of the Audi A8 in 1994, we have been the official base for these successful Audi models. After a 5-year interruption (due to changes in the manufacturer's sales structures), we have also been a VW service partner again since 2005. In addition, we took over the support point for the VW Touareg and VW Phaeton models. From 2006 on we were Skoda service partner as well as VW and Audi service partner. In 2011 Kurt Gilg sold his business to Adrian Schweizer. In the same year we converted our business to the latest Audi standards, and in 2014 we changed our name to sportgarage schweizer ag. Due to changes in the distribution network, the representation for Skoda ceased as of December 31, 2015. Since January 2019, we have been a partner of stop+go. This is a service concept of AMAG, which enables us to carry out all repair and maintenance work on VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda according to manufacturer specifications. Since then, we are also equipped for foreign brands.
