THOMAS Automobile is a small specialized workshop and your partner for all vehicles, especially for Youngtimer, Classic, Sport and Exclusive Cars from 1945 to today.

Cedric Thomas, the owner, acquired his expertise in racing, sports and classic cars between 1985 and 2008 at Erlengarage Rolf Kühn in Basel, at Schlotterbeck on Jaguar and Honda in Basel and at Monteverdi Automobile in Binningen. He gained his apprenticeship and first experiences at Erlengarage Rolf Kühn on all car brands, but especially on English cars from Mini to TVR and from Morgan to Rolls Royce, in the field of service as well as restorations. Vehicle construction was also of great importance, especially the replica construction of the Lotus Super Seven with the Westfield brand. Furthermore, the takeover of the Maserati service was a special and nice challenge. At Monteverdi, from 1986-1997, Cedric Thomas stood by to help with the servicing of the Formula 1 cars, as well as providing active support during the respective tests in Dijon, Hockenheim, Monza, etc. In 1991 Cedric Thomas worked for Peter Monteverdi as a race mechanic in the Euroseries Formula Opel Lotus, responsible for the formula car of David Luyet. Since 2010 regular support as mechanic with Ueli Schüpbach for the maintenance of the Monteverdi cars (Museum Binningen). From time to time a vehicle can also be found at our place.
