Auto Chiesa SA (Riazzino)

The Chiesa family has a long tradition in the public and private transport sector. Already in 1927 Flavio and Dario Chiesa founded Auto Chiesa SA in Minusio, representing the Subaru and Rover brands since 1986. In 1988 the representation of Mitsubishi was signed as exclusive agent for Locarno and the valleys. In 1994 Auto Flada SA, a Citroën dealer, was established in Riazzino and two new showrooms and a modern workshop and body shop were built. In September 2003, the site was moved from Minusio to Riazzino and a diagnostic center and administrative offices were added. In January 2005, the two company names were merged under the same name, Auto Chiesa SA. In December 2013, the Mazda brand was acquired, which continues to be represented together with Citroën and was joined by Peugeot in 2018.
