STEADILY AND CONTINUOUSLY GROWN

In 1970 Karl Rüedi started his own cab company. His first employee as a cab driver was also a car mechanic, which meant that he was able to carry out minor repairs and conversions himself. In the meantime, the cab fleet grew steadily, and the employees and their relatives and acquaintances also had cars that needed to be maintained and repaired. As a result, demand increased steadily, and Karl Rüedi founded the Gundeli Garage in 1974. In 1991, the Centra Garage followed, which first acted as a Saab agency for five years and finally became the official Volvo main agency in Basel in 1996.

Karl Rüedi's garage operations are characterized by their exceptional customer friendliness as well as their competent and friendly employees. His business policy is to always offer the best possible service to the clientele and well-paid and secure jobs to the staff. As the founder of 33er Taxi AG, he is still active on its board of directors.
